SMS Messaging Terms

Last updated: July 22, 2026.

These terms apply to the IATSE Local 346 SMS messaging program used for workforce dispatch and operational communications.

Program description

IATSE Local 346 may send text messages concerning work opportunities, assignment offers and confirmations, call times, schedule changes, reminders, venue and parking instructions, and other operational information. Recipients may be asked to reply YES or NO to accept or decline a work opportunity.

Consent and eligibility

Messages are sent only to members and authorized workers who provide a mobile number and consent to receive SMS dispatch communications through the Local's onboarding, registration, or records-update process. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of union membership or purchase.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on work availability, production schedules, and assignment activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance, call (859) 221-1921, or email iatselocal346@gmail.com.

Assignment responses

A YES response indicates interest or acceptance only as described in the specific message and remains subject to available positions and final confirmation by the Local. A NO response declines the referenced opportunity. Do not report to a job unless you receive confirmation through the authorized dispatch process.

Privacy

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for additional information.

Changes to the program

The Local may modify or discontinue the SMS program or these terms. Updated terms will be posted on this page.
